About “Il 6 Spiagge”
RiminiRugby proudly presents Il 6 Spiagge, the first International Beach Rugby Tournament on the Riviera Romagnola, scheduled from June 17 to July 23, 2023 open to Rugby Clubs from all over Europe and to all Rugby Union categories.
Il 6Spiagge means The Six Beaches: an exciting month of rugby, sunshine and sea in Italy’s iconic beach resorts: Rimini, Rivabella, Bellaria, Riccione and Cattolica.
We’ll play beach rugby over 6 straight weekends, each one focusing on a specific category, from Basic Rugby to Old. Over the weekend, each team will play 6 actual matches: every team will get the same fair chance to make the podium.
Beach Rugby is a variation of rugby that is played on sand. It is the same rugby we know and love, physical and exciting, but easier to play and to understand, even if you have never watched a game before.
2 teams of 5 players each face off in 2 halves, each lasting 5 minutes, with 3-minute intervals and on-the-fly substitutions. Each match is ten minutes tops of adrenaline-fueled action, speed and power. Totally exciting and so entertaining to watch.
Il 6 Spiagge is the beach rugby experience you didn’t know you needed. It takes place at the heart of Italy’s favourite vacation area, offering entertainment, nature, culture, the country’s best theme parks, plus a movida that winds along 40 kilometers of coastline with events, happenings and piadina galore!

Prizepool
The prizes are in cash and equivalent to the sum of the entry fees paid for participation in the tournament. Prizes will be awarded to all the ranked teams in each category.

How to apply
Applying Teams must consist of minimum 10 players, 1 head coach, 1 manager or escort.
Since only 8 teams per category are eligible for the tournament, each application will be reviewed and evaluated by Rimini Rugby, which in its sole discretion will confirm the registration with an acceptance e-mail.
Once the club receives Rimini Rugby’s confirmation e-mail , they have 10 calendar days to wire transfer the participation fee, set at €500 per team. If the fee is not received within 10 days, the club lose their admission privilege and other clubs in waiting list will be favoured.

Pack 3 – 3-Day, 2-Nights
What you pay:
€225 per person (in double – or multiple bed room) of €249 in single-bed room, according to availability.
1 free every 12 people.
What you get:
A 3-day and 2 nights stay in a 3-Star hotel with HB (Half Board) accomodation (Breakfast and lunch). Lunch can be at the hotel, or it can be a packed lunch in case you wish so: just make sure to advise the hotel in advance. With Pack 3 you will be Rimini Rugby’s guest at Rugby Night Barbecue on Friday night as well as on the Third Halves on match days.

6.00 pm – 8 pm It’s Play time! – Beach Rugby Matches

€375 per person (in double – or multiple bed room) of €423 in single-bed room, according to availability.

What you get:
A 5-day and 4 nights stay in a 3-Star hotel with HB (Half Board) accomodation, including breakfast and lunch.
Lunch can be taken at the hotel, or it can be a packed lunch in case you wish to go on a trip or stay at the beach: just make sure to advise the hotel in advance of your plans. With Pack 5 you will be Rimini Rugby’s guest at Rugby Night Barbecue dinner on Friday, as well as on the Third Halves on match days.
